About ANZSASI 2025
A joint initiative of the ‘Australian Society of Air Safety Investigators’ and the ‘New Zealand Society of Air Safety Investigators’, the aim of the seminar is to provide ongoing professional development for aviation industry professionals working in the field of aviation safety and accident investigation.
The origins of the ANZSASI Annual Seminar dates back to the inaugural ‘Regional Seminar’ event run in Brisbane in 1997, and in the current era, the seminar is hosted on an annual rotation basis between the Australian and New Zealand societies.
The bi-annual Asia Pacific Cabin Safety Working Group (APCSWG) Seminar will be held on Friday, 30 May 2025 in the same location.
The ANZSASI professional development seminar is aimed at experienced and early career air accident investigation professionals, as well as aviation safety professionals and academics interested in air accident investigation. University-level students interested in air accident investigation are also encouraged to attend.
The professional development program is applicable to the following segments of the aviation industry who seek to be kept up-to-date on developments in aviation safety matters associated with incident and accident investigation, including:
Gold Sponsor & Conference Host
The professional development presentations include a range of topics from both the Australian and international environment.
The full program is available as a PDF file, click here.
The registration costs for the Seminar have been deliberately kept to a minimum to ensure that the event is accessible to industry professionals across the sector within the Oceania region.
N.B. The 2 day registration includes the Welcome Reception on Friday evening, lunch, morning and afternoon teas for the two seminar days, and the Saturday Conference Dinner on Saturday night. Spouse/partner functions are the Friday Welcome Reception and Saturday Conference Dinner only. Single day attendance includes seminar and lunch, but not the Conference Dinner. The welcome reception and the dinner can be paid for separately if required, at $75 and/or $125 respectively. All prices quoted are in Australia dollars.
Don’t forget that there is also the APCSWG Seminar on the Friday 30 May. APCSWG Webpage
The APCSWG is a not-for-profit body of aviation safety supporters, including airline crew, trainers, investigators and managers, as well as the regulators. The APCSWG meet bi-annually to facilitate the exchange of cabin safety information and sharing of resources, with the aim of promoting a proactive approach to cabin safety across the industry.
The APCSWG Seminar will take place on Friday (8.30am – 4.15pm) UNSW Kensington Campus site.
Please Note: registration to the ANZSASI Seminar does not include registration to the APCSWG meeting – please contact the APCSWG directly.
